Joey - the materials

Our Joey is crafted from Polylactic Acid (PLA), a bio-based material synthesized from renewable agricultural sources such as cornstarch or sugarcane. Utilizing plant-derived polymers reduces reliance on finite fossil fuels during raw material extraction.

End-of-Life & Disposal Notice: PLA is certified for industrial composting only (conforming to EN 13432 standards), which requires specific high-temperature (50–60°C) and high-humidity environments found exclusively in commercial processing facilities. This material is not home compostable and will not degrade rapidly if littered or discarded in open natural environments. Please dispose of this product according to local municipal organic waste regulations.
